“The highly-skilled staff of Marian Extended Care Center are what make the facility so special,” said Kathleen Sullivan, Dignity Health Central Coast vice president of post-acute care services. “All of our employees provide unsurpassed levels of comfort and care to their patients, who become like family during their stay in our facility. We recognize their dedication and commitment to the care of our community.”

For the past two years, Marian Extended Care has been recognized among the best nursing homes in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This places MECC as one of only 420 nursing homes nationwide that received the designation of U.S. News Best Nursing Home for Short Stay and Long-Term Rehabilitation.

This outcome helps consumers make informed decisions and find the best possible care for loved ones. After evaluation of more than 15,000 nursing homes, the title is awarded to only those homes that demonstrate appropriate use of key services and consistent performance in quality measures, and are rated high-performing.

Marian Extended Care Center’s 95-skilled bed nursing facility provides sub-acute health care for individuals in need or short-term, intermediate, or long-term care. For more, visit dignityhealth.org/marianregional.
