Infant Mia Sky Hurley, daughter of Katherine (Whitney) and Skylar Hurley was born and passed away May 20, 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Surviving are her parents of Ventura, California; maternal grandparents Kathi and Hubert “Buddy” Amaker of Irmo, South Carolina; paternal grandparents Priscilla Shumway and Jack Hurley of Charleston, South Carolina; maternal great grandmothers Carolyn Binnicker of Norway, South Carolina, and Martha Hartzog of Orangeburg, South Carolina; aunts and uncles Brittney and Hubert “Kipp” Amaker of Gilbert, Arizona, and Allison and Morgan Hurley of Charleston, SC; cousins Rhodes and Legree Amaker of Gilbert, AZ, and Isabelle and Kai Hurley of Charleston, SC; numerous great aunts and uncles; and a host of additional family and friends.

A paddle-out in Mia’s memory will be scheduled for a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to the family.
