Two buses crashed into each other along Modoc Road in Santa Barbara on Friday afternoon, in what authorities called a “low-speed collision.”

There were no major injuries reported in the incident, according to the Santa Barbara Fire Department. Two fire engines and an ambulance reported to the scene and found “no to minor injuries.”

One of the buses involved is operated by the Metropolitan Transit District and the other is operated by Sun Shuttle & Transit.

The collision was reported shortly after 4 p.m. on Modoc Road near Calle de los Amigos.

The roadway was partially blocked by the buses, according to the California Highway Patrol.
