Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast is celebrating the success of its recent gala event, Diamonds Are Forever, that raised more than $150,000 for the organization.

The event title honored of 60 years of service on the Central Coast, brought hundreds of community members together for a evening of auctions, raffles and inspiration at the Veterans’ Memorial Center in Santa Maria.

The gala featured a proclamation of 60 years from Jane Kim of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, who presented the award to CEO Maria Fabula.

Guests enjoyed a silent auction done exclusively through a digital platform, as well as a dessert and live auction, a paddle raise and a raffle, highlighted by a silver diamond necklace to the lucky winner. The group Unfinished Business provided live music

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast thanked event vendors Testa Catering, Cool Hand Luke’s, Renoda Campbell Photography, Cody Dawson Auctioneer, DJ Jay Turner, Unfinished Business, and city of Santa Maria.

The gala was presented by Diamond Sponsors, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Central Coast Foundation and Driscoll’s.
