Guest soloist Jessica Guideri will join the Santa Maria Philharmonic and Michael Nowak for Musical Travelogue, the final concert of the 2023-24 season, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Grace Baptist Church, 605 E. McCoy Lane, Santa Maria.

Guideri is concertmaster of the Santa Barbara Symphony. She is an active recording musician, with more than 500 motion picture and television soundtracks.

Guideri is also a chamber musician and was the first violinist of the Fry Street Quartet, concertizing internationally and sponsored by Carnegie Hall and the U.S. Department of State as cultural ambassadors to the Balkan states.

She has appeared as soloist in Taiwan, Brazil, and on the main stage of Carnegie Hall. She has also held principal positions in several orchestras including the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra and Pacific Symphony.

Guideri will be featured in the Santa Maria Philharmonic’s performance of Édouard Lalo’s “Symphonie Espagnole.”
