Natalia Alexandra Hernandez, 24, of Santa Barbara passed away comfortably on Nov. 20, 2022, surrounded by her family members, after a valiant and courageous battle with adenocarcinoma. Natalie was born on Sept. 24, 1998.

She attended local schools including Washington Elementary, Santa Barbara Jr. High and Santa Barbara High School, further studying abroad at IAU in Aix-en-Province, France. Natalie received her bachelor’s degree from California Lutheran University.

Natalie had dreams of becoming a criminal justice attorney, and took great pride in her educational studies and in activities such as Competitive Cheer and Young Life.

Natalie is survived by her mother Luz and father Mario; sisters Briseyda and Lucero; brothers Mario, Luis and Miguel; and numerous family members.

Truly a beautiful loving soul who graced every room she entered, Natalie’s smile and cheerful laugh will never be forgotten and be forever in our hearts.

The Celebration of Life ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the First United Methodist Church, 305 E. Anapamu St., followed by the graveside ceremony at Santa Barbara Cemetery, 901 Channel Drive.
