New Beginnings’ Annual Fundraiser Gala featuring British duo Jonny & The Baptists, will be Saturday, Oct. 25 at Santa Barbara’s Center Stage Theatre.
This year’s gala supports the urgent cause of accessible mental healthcare. Attendees directly support our work with individuals and families experiencing homelessness, veterans, vehicle-dwellers, and those in need of low-income mental health services throughout Santa Barbara County.
Jonny & The Baptists (Jonny Donahoe and Paddy Gervers) blends music and comedy in a thought-provoking exploration of what it means to find happiness in a chaotic world, according to New Beginnings.
The gala weekend will also include two encore performances of Donahoe’s one-man show Every Brilliant Thing, which previously performed for New Beginnings in 2022 and currently is getting reviews on London’s West End.

- Friday, Oct. 24: Every Brilliant Thing
- Saturday, Oct. 25: Premiere of Jonny & The Baptists
- Sunday, Oct. 26 (matinee): Every Brilliant Thing
Each show will include a complimentary reception. Attendees can enjoy appetizers, wine, and community engagement. Sponsors enjoy a pre-show dinner at Bouchon restaurant in Santa Barbara.
