The Santa Barbara County Historic Landmarks Advisory Commission (HLAC), and the Neighbors of Rocky Nook Park on June 5 will celebrate the installation of a bronze plaque at Rocky Nook Park, declaring the park as Santa Barbara County Landmark No. 54.

Confirmed attendees at the 11 a.m. ceremony are County Supervisors Laura Capps and Roy Lee; former supervisor Das Williams; members of the local Chumash leadership; Fran Galt and Peter and Paulina Conn of Neighbors of Rocky Nook Park; and members of HLAC.

Sponsors of the plaque are Neighbors of Rocky Nook Park and the Santa Barbara County Historic Landmarks Advisory Commission (HLAC).
