Give 2 Pets will hold a soft opening event, featuring modern and antique furniture, at its newest thrift store, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday Sept. 9 at 4185 Carpinteria Ave. #3, Carpinteria.
The Give 2 Pets Foundation is a 501(C)3 nonprofit that provides comfort and support to pets and people facing chronic illness, temporary hospitalization, transitioning to retirement facilities, or nearing the end of life, said store owner Nadia Bernardi.
“We aim to ease their worries by offering both permanent and temporary foster homes for these beloved companions, ensuring their safety and well-being during a critical time of need,” Bernardi said.
“We are thrilled to bring our unique collection of quality furniture to Carpinteria residents, all to support a good cause and help animals,” she said.
At Give 2 Pets, customers can expect to find quality, gently-used furniture pieces.
“From classic and vintage to contemporary and trendy, there’s something for everyone,” she said.
