Nick Brakka and Santiago Grande powered the Dos Pueblos LL 13U All-Stars to a win over Fillmore LL in the District 63 tournament on Tuesday at El Carro Park in Carpinteria.
DPLL will now take on Santa Paula on Friday, with the winner moving on to the District 63 title game.
Brakka and Grande were a dominant duo on the mound for DPLL, tossing a combined no-hitter.
They each got it done at the plate as well, as Brakka had a grand slam and a two-run homer, while Grande contributed a solo home run of his own.
As a team, DPLL rattled off a whopping 22 hits, including three doubles and three home runs.
The DPLL 13U team is made up of Cyrus Brunner, Hector Aguilera, Henry Wood, Isaiah Estrella, Julian Flores, Matteo Conant, Mauricio Galicia, Nick Brakka, Ollie Cottle, Santiago Grande, Sebastian Gutierrez, & Tyler Newendorp.
The coaches are Bryan Conant, Chris Lem, Mario Galicia and the manager is Ken Newendorp.
