In this interview, Noozhawk spoke with Craig Jenkins, president of Bill’s Bus to learn more about their services.

Question: What is the name of your business?
Answer: Bill’s Bus.
Q: What year was your business established?
A: 1991.
Q: What do you specialize in?
A: Wedding transportation, wine tours, corporate events.
Q: What attracted you to the wedding industry?
A: Bill’s Bus began as a sober ride program for college students in 1991 and over the years has been providing transportation services for weddings in one of the most popular destination cities in the world. I am truly honored when couples put that responsibility in our hands and allow us to provide safe and fun transportation for their friends and family:)
Q: Can you share any testimonials from past clients that you have worked with?
A: We all love Bills bus!
My sister used Bills Bus for her wedding last year and we had a such a great experience, we just used them for ours. After doing some price shopping, we found that Bills Bus has the most bang for your buck! They are extremely accommodating, and the busses were timely and very clean. I run a shuttle in only venue hosting large, high end events! In my events we have come across many shuttle services, but Bills Bus have always been the favorite. They are reliable, professional, and communicative before, during, and after each event. They create clear plans for pick up and drop off and I never have to stress about them meeting their commitments. Their units are always clean and super comfortable! I am confident that Bills Bus can cater to wide variety of audience members with different needs.
Q: What is your payment structure and cancellation policy? Do you charge any travel or overtime fees?
A: Our payment structure is by the hour from first pick up to last drop off with a 5 hour per bus minimum. If the event goes beyond the agreed upon time frame, we add the time and the same hourly rate.
Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes
Q: What size weddings do you typically work with?
A: 50-300 guests
Q: Do you require a minimum number of hours for a booking?
A: 5 hour per bus minimum
Q: Do you provide your own equipment or work with other vendors?
A: We provide our own vehicles and we play well with others.
Q: How far in advance do you recommend clients book with you?
A: We are currently booking about a year and half in advance but we’ve been pretty good about honoring last minute charters as well. The sooner you can lock in transportation the better.
Q: What makes you different from your competitors?
A: Our flexibility and customer service. We work diligently to accommodate every detail. Additionally, we are the only transportation company in town where the majority of our fleet runs on compressed natural gas which makes us very eco friendly.
Q: What is your average cost?
A: $2500-$6500 on average
Q: Do you provide a trial run before the wedding day?
A: If it’s a venue we haven’t been to before, I will do a test run to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Q: Can you describe a memorable experience you’ve had working in this industry?
A: We’ve done hundreds of weddings but my favorite part is the brides smile when I get to bring her to the ceremony site in one of our shuttles and deliver her to her wedding right before she walks down the aisle. Pure happiness:)
