The Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table honored a trio of Athletes of the Week on Monday at Giavanni’s Pizza in Santa Maria.

Santa Ynez High water polo’s Paige Reynolds captured the girls athlete of the week honor, while Santa Maria water polo’s Ulises Munoz and Santa Ynez football’s Joey Duarte split the boys award.

Reynolds broke the Pirates’ program record for steals in a career with 178. She capped off the regular season with a team-high 74 goals and 54 assists, which was second on the team.

Meanwhile, Munoz poured in 16 goals and dished out three assists across two games against Cabrillo and Nipomo.

Duarte, a lineman for the Pirates, had eight tackles in the first half against Santa Maria, including three tackles for a loss and a sack.
