PATH Santa Barbara will host its third annual Making It Home Tour on Saturday, June 8. The event is a fundraiser celebrating home and the spirit of the Santa Barbara community.

Successful community partnerships — such as with 805 Living, Marborg, and now AB Designs and Sonos — have grown the group’s fundraising by 25 percent year over year, allowing PATH Santa Barbara to house 100 local individuals and assist another 700 each year.

“Our Making It Home Tour has quickly become a cherished tradition here,” said Tessa Madden Storms, regional director of PATH Santa Barbara.

“It is a time to celebrate shared successes with our generous hosts and community supporters, while raising critical funds to help our homeless neighbors make it home,” she said.

“Individual donors are the backbone of our organization,” said Nancy Fiore, PATH Santa Barbara Advisory Board member. “Their love for Santa Barbara is key to our success in helping people move off the streets and into homes of their own.”

Guests will be treated to a guided tour through luxury area homes aboard a historic Santa Barbara trolley. The tour will include food and wine pairings from local restaurants at each stop.

The celebration continues with a reception at the SONOS campus in downtown Santa Barbara, where guests will enjoy music, luxury raffles, and a variety of food and drinks.

Those interested in attending can find more information and buy tickets at sbhometour.org.

PATH Santa Barbara works to address and end homelessness for individuals throughout Santa Barbara County.

In the past four years, PATH Santa Barbara has provided shelter to 1,800 homeless clients, secured employment or increased income for more than 500 individuals, and helped 400 homeless neighbors move off the streets and into permanent homes.
