Emergency crews rescued a person stuck on a More Mesa cliff in Santa Barbara Saturday afternoon.

Crews responded to the More Mesa Open Space at around 3:06 p.m. for a report of a paraglider on the cliff roughly 20 feet down, according to Santa Barbara County Fire Department spokesperson Capt. Mike Gray.

Firefighters set up a rope system to bring her up to the top of the cliff.

The paraglider was not injured, per Gray.

“Excellent work by SBCFD and partner agencies in challenging coastal terrain,” Gray said.
