The phases of the Aug. 21 solar eclipse from Larkspur, Colo., which achieved about 93 percent cover as the moon passed in front of the sun. Shot with a Canon 60D DSLR, using a 70-300mm lens at 300mm with three neutral-density filters, 1/3200 sec., ISO-100 and f/32. The different shots were combined into one image via Photoshop.
