Pearl Chase, SBHS Class of 1904, is one of the founders of the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, so the partnership of these two groups is a natural for an exhibit at Casa de la Guerra, 15 E. De La Guerra St., according to the Alumni Association.

The display, which runs through October, features photographs of the school, traditions and memorabilia. Photos of 48 Notable Dons and 24 memorable teachers also are on view.

The exhibit is open to the public, noon-4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.

There is a smaller exhibit of SBHS memorabilia on display in October at Chaucer’s Bookstore, 3321 State St., and in November at the Downtown Public Library.
