The Fiesta Children’s Parade strolled along the Santa Barbara waterfront Saturday with participants wearing colorful costumes and waving to people gathered along Cabrillo Boulevard.

Old Spanish Days events this year include two parades, daily dance and music performances, and two mercados with food and entertainment — one downtown and one at the beach.

El Desfile de los Niños is organized by the Santa Barbara City Parks and Recreation Department. The route along Cabrillo Boulevard is shorter than Friday’s historical horse parade.
