The planned launch late Wednesday morning of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base has been delayed.

On Tuesday, notices warning boaters and pilots about a planned launch were rescinded, with no new date included for SpaceX rocket’s blastoff.

Rocket launches routinely get delayed because of the team falling behind in chores, unfavorable weather, or technical troubles for the rocket, payload or ground support equipment.

The mission will deliver a pair of WorldView Legion satellites into orbit, with plans for the first-stage booster to land at Vandenberg.

That means sonic booms are likely to be heard for this mission along with the typically rumble signaling a liftoff.

SpaceX already has launched three other missions this month from Vandenberg.
