Multiple weapons were located and seized during 18 compliance checks on probationers or parolees in Lompoc on Wednesday, May 22, the Lompoc Police Department announced.
A male and a female were arrested regarding the weapons charges, and several investigations are ongoing with suspects still outstanding, police report.
The male is identified as Daniel Esquivel, 19, and the female is identified as Crystal Esquivel, 48, police said.
These checks are designed to ensure compliance to the terms of individuals’ supervised release from custody.
Lompoc Police were assisted by the Santa Maria Police Department, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department, Probation Department, State Parole, and the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office.
