MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation will hold its annual Power of MOXI spring brunch + learn event Tuesday, May 6.
The event showcases MOXI’s educational programs and commitment to providing access opportunities for all kids and families.
The brunch will focus on the benefits of early childhood education and STEAM learning experiences for young children, with special guest speaker Michelle Robertson of First 5 of Santa Barbara County, addressing the lasting impact of these programs.
MOXI’s accessibility programs include reduced or no-cost field trips for Title I schools; Community Access Program, which provides free admission for family service agencies and public libraries; Museums for All, which grants $1 admission for CalFresh EBT cardholders; free admission for teachers; and an after-school program that brings MOXI to local students who may not be able to visit.
The Power of MOXI brunch is free to attend; guests will be invited to make a gift supporting MOXI’s Accessibility Fund. Last year’s Power of MOXI brunch event raised some $68,000 to support the Accessibility Fund.
