Nearly 6,000 customers were without power in and around downtown Santa Barbara Saturday night, according to the Southern California Edison Co.
The outage was reported at 7:15 p.m., the company’s outage map indicated.
Cause of the outage was unknown, the company said, and no timeline was provided for when power would be restored.
Edison said it was analyzing the problem, which was affecting 5,964 customers.
