Bishop Diego dropped a 15-3 decision to Providence Thursday, but pleased the coach by leaving it all on the court in an unflagging effort.
“The team lost today but we continue to celebrate our individual successes,” Cardinals coach Natlee Hapeman said. “Our last two sets went to Providence in a tight tiebreaker. The student athletes left it all on the court. I am so proud of their never-give-up drive.”
The Cardinals are now 0-4 overall and 0-3 in Frontier League play.
The Bishop Diego squad faces Santa Clara at Santa Barbara Municipal Courts.
