Southern California Edison may shut off power Sunday and Monday to 1,799 customers in Santa Barbara County due to elevated wildfire risk.

The shutoffs may be in effect from Sunday at 3 p.m. through Monday at midnight.

The affected areas include parts of the Eastern Goleta Valley on the mountainside of Highway 101, as well as properties along Highway 154.

Areas to the west of Goleta along Highway 101 may also be affected, from Naples to the Jack and Laura Dangermond Preserve.
