Santa Barbara residents have a wet week ahead of them.
Two storms are on the way, according to the National Weather Service.
Rose Schoenfeld, a meteorologist for the NWS in Oxnard, said that Santa Barbara will likely see peaks of rainfall on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and another peak will last from Thursday evening into Friday.
“Overall, totals for Santa Barbara County are probably going to be ending up in around three quarters of an inch up to an inch and a half for most areas,” Schoenfeld said. “And then some enhanced rain for the Santa Ynez range (is) possible.”
Schoenfeld stated that the rain may affect travel times and cause some pooling of water in some areas. She also warned of stronger winds out of the south on Tuesday.
She added that early signs show the rain could stop by the weekend.

The NWS expects light and moderate rainfall, but says there is a chance of heavier rain.
There is a 10-20% chance of rainfall rates up to 0.66 inches per hour in Santa Barbara County, including the Lake Fire burn scar, meteorologist Todd Hall said in a briefing Monday afternoon.
Rainfall rates above 0.5 inches per hour increase the risk of flash flooding and debris flows.
