Cold, wet weather is moving into Santa Barbara County for the weekend, but this storm shouldn’t drop significant amounts of rain like the last one did.
The National Weather Service forecasts up to 1 inch of rain in the Thursday-Saturday night period, and up to 2 inches in mountain and foothill areas.
This storm will also drop snow at higher elevations, the NWS said.
The chance of rain starts Thursday evening for Santa Barbara County areas and continues through Saturday night, with the highest chances on Friday night and Saturday.
Daytime high temperatures will be around 60 this weekend. Nighttime lows will around 50 Thursday night, and drop down to the 40s or high 30s by Sunday night, according to the NWS.
The county has surpassed its normal amount of rainfall for the year, and local reservoirs are full including Lake Cachuma.
