It was the quiet force of purpose and the steady light of community that guided Jack Azar toward a direction of a more meaningful life—for himself, and for others.

Since his teenage years, Jack has been motivated by a pursuit of personal growth and a desire to move through the world with intention, values that have shaped his relationship with work, family, friendships, and major transitions.

Now, the Summerland native is bringing that motivation full circle with the launch of GlideView Collective, a company founded to guide individuals on a path of self-awareness and elevated quality of life.

Jack’s roots in the community run deep. His grandparents immigrated from Lebanon and settled in Summerland in 1932, laying a foundation that continues to shape his family’s legacy today.

His father, aunt, and uncle were all born here, and Jack, following in their footsteps, is a proud Don and graduate of Santa Barbara High School.

From his early days working at Stacky’s Seaside to earning a degree in Communication Studies from San Francisco State, Jack’s path has been shaped by curiosity and a deep desire to understand people, including the human-made systems that influence how we live and work.

After spending years building a multifaceted career in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York, Jack has returned to Santa Barbara with clarity and a calling to serve others.

His cross-industry experience offered not only a rare view into human behavior and workplace culture, but also a profound insight into his own evolving relationship with work, a journey that ultimately led him to earn his associate coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Professionally, Jack has worn many hats, from managing grants at the Santa Barbara Foundation to supporting clients at a global media agency in New York. But the common thread has always been his passion for helping people connect to the parts of themselves that are often overlooked, yet quietly long to be seen.

GlideView Collective was born out of that passion. Its vision is simple yet profound: To help people live inspired lives.

Through group programs that emphasize self-reflection and curiosity, GlideView supports individuals who are motivated to elevate their quality of life and align with what truly matters to them.

“Returning to Santa Barbara to offer this work feels like coming full circle,” says Jack.

“So much of who I am was shaped here. Being back, I can feel the undeniable presence of my family heritage. It reminds me, this is where I belong.” He continues, “GlideView is one way I look forward to contributing to the community, just as my family once did.”

At the heart of his work is the 10-Year Visionnaire, a fully guided program designed for individuals going through a turning point in their lives.

Over the course of eight weeks, participants reflect on their past to clarify current priorities and craft an audacious, values driven roadmap for the next decade. The program blends thoughtfully developed tools and techniques with meaningful conversations, community connection, and actionable planning.

To introduce himself and the 10-Year Visionnaire Program to the broader community, Jack will be hosting a free public presentation on Tuesday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the historic Balboa Building on State Street.

Attendees will get a chance to learn more about the program, meet Jack, and experience the heart of GlideView’s approach. Community members interested in attending can reserve a spot at GlideView.co.

All are welcome.
