Riley O’Brien fired a 46 to earn medalist honors and lead the San Marcos girls golf team to a 259-295 Channel League win over Lompoc at a windy Santa Barbara Golf Club on Monday.
“She is playing very consistently,” San Marcos coach Sarah Ashton said of O’Brien.
Stella Ashmalla carded a 48 and Fia Torrey posted a 50 in the tough conditions.
The Royals, 6-3 in league and 9-7 overall, play Santa Barbara (5-4 in league) in the final league match on Wednesday at SBGC.
