
Community Arts Music Association of Santa Barbara, Inc. (CAMA) has elected Robert Boghosian to its Board of Directors, effective May 4.
Boghosian, a native of New York City, has had a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic sectors of the healthcare industry.
He has held various management and executive positions at companies such as Warner-Lambert, Johnson & Johnson, Dade-Behring Diagnostics, Elan Pharmaceutical, and Beckman Instruments.
Boghosian retired in 2008, after serving five years as senior vice president and chief compliance officer at Beckman Instruments.
Following his retirement, Boghosian and his wife Beth Gates Warren, an art historian and author, moved to Santa Barbara, where they have been active supporters and volunteers for several local organizations, including the Music Academy of the West, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, and Direct Relief.
CAMA, Santa Barbara’s oldest arts organization, is entering its 105th concert season in 2023-24. CAMA brings top classical musicians from around the globe to Santa Barbara’s Granada Theatre and Lobero Theatre.
