Every year the Rotary Club of Santa Barbara North holds an essay-writing contest for local students. The essay subject was The Four-Way Test — Rotarian’s means of evaluating our interaction with the world in a positive and ethical manner.
Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Participating students at Adams Elementary School wrote an essay answering the question: What is the Four-Way Test, and how does each question help me stop and make better decisions?
Adams Elementary School Principal Kelly Fresch welcomed Rotarians Gil Garcia, Marti Correrá de Garcia, and Veronica Gallardo during a recent school-wide morning assembly to present a prize and certificates to sixth-grade student winners Dax Robinson, Anisia Kourakis, and Maia Weld.
Rotarians from Rotary Club North of Santa Barbara have been active volunteers at Adam’s School for more than 30 years. Members contributed to the Design Center and assisted in the Adams School Library.
