The Royal Pride Foundation will present The Royal Ball, its signature annual benefit, offering an evening of celebration, connection and purpose designed to lift opportunity for every student at San Marcos High School, 5 p.m., April 25 at the Santa Barbara Club, 1105 Chapala St., Santa Barbara.
Hosted beneath the stars in the gardens of the Santa Barbara Club, The Royal Ball blends impact with inspiration and fun, featuring a catered dinner and appetizers, full bar, unique auction items, and dancing.
The evening will be guided by celebrity emcee Andrew Firestone, “whose warmth, humor, and longtime support of the community make him a cherished part of this special night,” organizers said.
Unlike fundraisers that support a single team or program, the Royal Ball creates campus-wide impact, spanning academics, arts, athletics, clubs, and student life, organizers said.
Sponsorships and contributions provide flexible resources that allow educators and school leaders to strengthen learning environments, enhance student experiences, and invest where the need, and opportunity, is greatest.
“San Marcos High School is experiencing a powerful season of momentum,” the Royal Pride Foundation said. “Students are thriving in classrooms, on stages and fields, and across a campus culture grounded in belonging and excellence.
“The Royal Ball is a both a joyful celebration of what’s working and an investment in what’s next.”
Funds raised at the ball support campus-wide priorities, including classroom enhancements and facility improvements that help students learn, gather, and perform at their best.
The Royal Pride Foundation also supports student-centered initiatives such as the Royal Care Closet, a welcoming, confidential resource that supports students when financial barriers might prevent them from participating fully in school or accessing the support they need to succeed; as well as teacher and staff grants; classroom tools; college-readiness opportunities; and programs that build leadership, belonging, and pride across campus.
“San Marcos is in Golden Age of momentum and possibility,” said Kristi Newton, president of the Royal Pride Foundation. “The Royal Ball invites our community to come together for an evening of fun and generosity, strengthening what’s working and expanding opportunity for every Royal.”
The Royal Pride Foundation thanks Royal Ball co-chairs, Alexis Tande and Dalina Klan, for their leadership, and invites community and corporate partners to participate through sponsorships, tables, and underwriting that fuel school-wide excellence.
