Former Dos Pueblos baseball standout Ryan Speshyock has been selected to play in the Cape Cod League All-Star Game on Saturday in Yarmouth, Mass.

Speshyock, a right-handed pitcher going into his junior year at Stanford, is playing summer ball with the Hyannis Harbor Cats. He has thrown 12.2 innings, earning three saves while posting a 2.13 ERA with 17 strikeouts.

Speshyock will be pitching for the West Division All Stars. He was a two-time Channel League MVP and All-CIF-SS selection at DP.

Also selected to the All-Star Game is UC Santa Barbara left-hander Cole Tryba. He’ll be pitching for the East squad. 

In 15.1 innings for the Orleans Firebirds, Tryba has posted a 1.17 ERA with 17 strikeouts, four walks and one save.
