Dos Pueblos pitcher and infielder Ryan Speshyock repeated as Channel League MVP, a junior, and San Marcos ace Chase Hoover, a senior, repeated as league Pitcher of the Year.

San Marcos and Dos Pueblos finished 1-2, respectively, in the Channel League standings this year, San Marcos with a 13-2 record and Dos Pueblos with 11-4.

This year, Speshyock started 11 games for the Chargers as a pitcher, with a record of 5-4 and an ERA of 0.76, according to MaxPreps. At the plate, Speshyock batted .351 with 26 hits,  23 RBI and 18 runs scored. Hoover had an ERA of 1.43  and a record of 4-1 this season. For his varsity career, Hoover is 12-2 with an ERA of 0.99.
