Sagarika Manian was the low scorer for the Dos Pueblos girls golf team in her first high school match, shooting a 46 to help the Chargers to a 257-261 win over Righetti at Rancho Maria Golf Course on Monday.
Manian finished one shot ahead of teammate Chelsi Ramirez and two shots behind medalist Grace Minetti (44) of Righetti.
DP’s other scorers were Camille Robinson with a 50, Marisa Ortiz 56 and Shira Brody 58.
“As you might expect for our first dual match of the year, there was room for improvement,” said DP coach Dan Choi. “That being said, we are always happy to get a win against a good team like Righetti.”
