Sage Brady poured in seven goals to lead Cabrillo High’s boys water polo team to a 12-7 win over Santa Ynez on Thursday.
Brady also had six steals and assisted on two goals.
The Conquistadores outscored the Pirates 4-1 in the second period to take a 7-3 halftime lead and looked back.
Addison Hawkins had three goals to lead Santa Ynez (2-2). Tristan Linder and Gunnar Johnson share time in goal. Linder made eight saves and had five steals, while Johnson had for saves.
The Pirates are back in action Saturday at home against Carpinteria at 5 p.m.
