San Marcos boys lacrosse fell to Valencia by a score of 11-2 in a battle of previously undefeated teams on Friday in Valencia.
The San Marcos defense was led by senior captain and goalie Elliot Mathieson, who ended the day with 20 total saves.
The Royals, now 2-1 on the young season, will be on the road against Simi Valley on Wednesday.
