San Marcos and Dos Pueblos battled to a scoreless draw in the Channel League girls soccer match on Thursday at Scott O’Leary Stadium.

Their first meeting also ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

San Marcos is now 0-5-2 in league while Dos Pueblos is 1-2-4.

“Our girls played extremely fantastic tonight, dominating every aspect of our game,” said San Marcos coach Brian “Ziggy” Ziegenhagen.

Dos Pueblos coach Marco Medina praised goalkeeper Elena Andrews for “a dynamic save” on a San Marcos free kick at the end of the first half.

“The players have shown patience and discipline on defense by earning another shutout,” said Medina
