The Royals almost swept singles as Mina Yazadzhiev and Kate Selby each won all three of their sets. For the Dons, Nicole Buist picked up a win over Victoria Chow while the other singles players earned two games for the remaining six sets.

In doubles play, the Santa Barbara High pairing of Caitlyn Buist and Juliana Aviani impressed, sweeping all three of their sets.

“Caitlyn brings an amazing amount of positivity to the doubles side,” Dons coach Danny Echt said. “She was the Dons most dominant player in doubles today.”
