San Marcos girls tennis opened its season with a 13-5 victory over West Ranch on Monday.
The Royals swept all doubles matchups, with West Ranch being held to two or fewer games in most.
The duo of Sydney Posch and Kate Selbby dropped just one game in their three matchups while Jolie Mardiat played with two different partners throughout the match.
Mardiat was paired up with both Summer Dolotta and Victoria Chow, who were able to find ways to set up Mardiat for putaways at the net.
The final double pairing of Helena Manar and Bridget Cunnison also found success on line three.
In singles play, Estela Wilson, Mya Shenoda, Hattie Valdez Lindgren and Sabrina Rashti each won a match while Cristian Wickline and Jaiden Gengo fell in their effort.
San Marcos (1-0) will jump right into league play on the road against Dos Pueblos next Tuesday.
