San Marcos girls volleyball wrapped up its regular season with a five-set Senior Night win over Mission Prep on Thursday.
The Royals took down Mission Prep 21-25, 25-14, 18-25, 25-20, 16-14.
The seniors honored at the game were Kaylin Cooney and Katie Kracke.
“The team had to play hard all night long with lots of long rallies and defensive saves to extend games,” San Marcos coach Dwayne Hauschild said.
Cooney led the way for San Marcos with 12 kills while Cora Loomer and Elena Thomas joined her in the double digits with 11 and 10, respectively.
Meanwhile, Alina Stapf and Josie Gamberdella took care of the defensive efforts with 11 and 10 digs apiece, respectively.
“All in all (it was) a great but long night of volleyball to finish the season on a positive note and celebrate our two seniors,” Hauschild said.
