San Marcos girls water polo pulled out a 13-11 road win over Foothill in a non-league matchup on Wednesday.
Naomi Enright (4 goals, 2 assists, 2 steals), Lucy Haaland-Ford (3 goals, 2 assists, 2 steals) and Charlotte Raisin (2 goals, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 exclusions earned) led the charge with strong all-around performances in the victory.
The Royals were forced to shift their lineup around throughout the matchup as Bethany King and Haaland-Ford rotated from the field to the goalie position. Both King and Haaland-Ford made impact plays at both positions.
Sophie Yonker also had a strong game for San Marcos after going 4-for-4 on sprints while also collecting four steals, one goal and one assist. Meanwhile, Marina Brown piled up five earned exclusions and found the back of the cage once.
The Royals will kick off the Villa Park Tournament on Thursday at 5 p.m.
