San Marcos High School and head baseball coach Richard Schroeder have “parted ways,” according to the school.
Schroeder recently finished his first year at the helm of the Royals’ baseball program. The reason for the two sides parting ways is unknown, and the school is searching for a new head coach.
San Marcos had a successful season under Schroeder, earning a co-Channel League championship and reaching the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.
