San Marcos Tennis Rolls Past Santa Barbara

The San Marcos boys tennis team beat Santa Barbara, 11-1, in a rain-shortened Channel League match on Tuesday at the Royals’ courts.

San Marcos won all six singles sets played. No. 1 player Matthew Chung prevailed by scores of 6-1, 6-0. Jed Greenwald and Carter Cotich each lost three games in their two wins.

In doubles,  the senior team Charlie Friedman and Nathan Shaffer swept Santa Barbara’s Nos. 1 and 3 doubles without losing a game.
