Evan Lehman and Tyler Hughes each scored four goals to lead a potent San Marcos attack in a 15-1 boys lacrosse win over Santa Barbara High in a Channel League game at Peabody Stadium on Wednesday.
Santa Barbara scored the first goal of the game before the Royals took over and roared to an 11-1 lead by halftime.
In addition to his scoring, Lehman, the team’s senior captain, dished out three assists.
Conor Early had three goals and an assist.
The Royals move into first place in the Channel League and take on Cate on Friday at Warkentin Stadium.
