San Marcos swept the boys and girls competitions in a dual Channel League meet with Cabrillo Thursday.

The boys prevailed by a score of 147-29, and the girls by 139-41.

Among the boys, Gavin Tallman and Asher Steelman both swam CIF consideration times.

Tallman won the 200 boys individual medley with a time of 2:07, and the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.60.

Steelman won the 100 fly in 55:05.

Other Royals boys winners included Jaran Depew in the 200 freestyle with 2:07.15, Jaden Lind the 50 free in 23.51, and Zachary Dell the 100 backstroke with 1:00.20.

Among relay winners, the San Marcos set of Zachary Dell, Franklin Jaramilla III, Gavin Tallman, Travis Dell won the 200 medley in a time of 1:51.66.

Girls winners for the Royals included Sierra Tallman in the 200 IM with a 2:12.99 and in the 100 fly with 1:00.35.

Reagan McEachen won the 50 free with 25:89. Holland Woodhouse won the 100 backstroke in 1:02.60.

The San Marcos team of Taylor Steelman, Sophia Panossian, Sofia Huebner, Marina Brown won the 200 medley relay in 1:58.97.

Cabrillo’s Kathryn Arreguin won the 200 free in 2:06.26.

San Marcos swept the diving top spots, with Jack Cunnison and Henry Jessup placing one and two, respectively, in the boys and Jessica Norman and Emily Mintz in the girls.
