San Marcos senior diver Jessica Norman accomplished a first-place finish and career-high score at the Ventura High School Diving Invitational Saturday.

With the result, Norman qualifies for the CIF Diving Championship on April 27 in Mission Viejo.

“Jessica went into the meet well prepared and performed a nearly flawless 11-dive list today,” her coach, Michael Martz, said “I am very proud of her effort and result.”
