Sansum Diabetes Research Institute (SDRI) will host two educational programs about Type 1 diabetes (T1D).

The programs will cover:
• T1D and autoimmunity
• Early-stage T1D and early detection
• How to screen to detect early-stage T1D
• Resources
• Potential management options for early-stage T1D

The programs will be held 5-6 p.m. May 20 and June 10.

Speaker for the May 20 session is Lauren Decker, Community Outreach and Screening Education manager.

Addressing the June 10 session is Tadeh Vartanian, Account Medical Science liaison, T1D immunology.
