Santa Barbara starter Liam Keithly had a strong outing against Camarillo Thursday, but the Scorpions came out on top by a 3-2 score.

Keithly, a junior, went six innings, surrendering three runs on four hits, striking out six. Zeke Adderley threw one inning out of the bullpen.

The Dons outhit Camarillo five to four. Freshman Jetner Welch went 2-for-3 to lead the Santa Barbara offense.

Danny Aguilera led Camarillo with two hits in three at bats. Boston Bateman started for the Scorpions, going four innings and allowing two hits and one run while striking out five.

Camarillo didn’t commit a single error.

The Dons are now 11-9 overall, and remain 6-2 in Channel League play.
