A walk-off double by Buena’s Eric Barron in the bottom of the seventh inning spelled defeat for visiting Santa Barbara Tuesday in a 4-3 Channel League loss.

The Dons fell behind 3-0 in the fourth inning, and then scored runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh to tie the score going into the bottom of the seventh.

Liam Keithley started the game for Santa Barbara and went four innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out six. The Bulldogs got two runs in the first.

Enrique Ramirez relieved Keithley and pitched 2.1 innings. Zeke Adderley finished with one-third of an inning for Santa Barbara.

Dane Dawson led the Dons’ offense with two hits in four at-bats.

Santa Barbara is now 6-3 in league play and 11-10 overall. Buena is in second place at 7-2, and is 15-6 overall.
