A balanced attack led the Santa Barbara High boys basketball team to a 70-48 Channel League win over visiting Pacifica on Senior Night at J.R. Richards Gym.
The Dons are now 10-3 in league play, with one game remaining at San Marcos on Friday. A Santa Barbara win would tie it for second place with Buena, which lost to Oxnard, 66-65, in overtime on Thursday.
Senior Owen Debusk got the Dons going in the first quarter, scoring eight points to help them take an 18-10 lead.
Sophomore Luke Zuffelato took charge in the second quarter, scoring 13 of his team-high 18 points.
Carter Battle and Tobin Shyrock knocked down three-pointers in the third quarter as the Dons pushed their lead to 20 points.
Will Harman scored 12 points off the bench and Shyrock added 10 points.
