A tall and talented Heritage Christian boys basketball team blew out Santa Barbara High, 93-36, at the Pacifica Tournament on Thursday in Oxnard.

“Simply, they had far too much size, starting three guys 6-foot-6 or taller, and bringing a 7-footer off the bench,” said coach Corey Adam. “We don’t have anyone over 6-4.”

Luke Zuffelato scored 13 points and Julian Espinosa played tough on defense and scored nine points.

“The boys had a good effort and competed,” said Adam.

The Dons (4-5) continue tournament play against Royal on Friday.
